Earlier than usual stream! Awkward scheduling with the Cardinals holding their home opener in the afternoon.

Prediction Time submissions are welcome anytime before first pitch (4:15 p.m. ET on Thursday).

The Marlins did virtually nothing to to improve the club and it shows. We need better players and an owner who is willing to spend to improve the club. If this continues MLB must take action. Things have to change.

When it rains, it pours. JJ Bleday has an OPS of around .950 for Oakland. That would lead the Marlins by a country mile.

While Jazz talks a great game, Gallen pitches one every time he steps on the mound.

Tim Anderson already has an RBI this season! Who knew?

Marlin catchers already have a hit this season! Who knew?

The Marlins may win a game this season! Who knows?

Bleday began last season on a heater as well. Let's see if it keeps up.

I was okay with dealing him because Burdick looked to be the more multi-dimensional player. The Marlins didn't see it that way unfortunately and lost Burdick for nothing (he's red-hot at Triple-A, by the way).

Burdick is still striking out half the time. However, that Orioles AAA team has about a half dozen players who are better than anyone on the Marlins major league team!

On Bleday. I was never a fan, not after the Marlins drafted him over my guy, CJ Abrams. It takes a few years to get a reading on prospects, but Abrams looks like a future All Star to me.

Got to hand it to Skip, no matter how unproductive his lineup has proven to be, he keeps penciling in the same names in the same spots. You'd think he might go with Gordon, Jazz and Arraez, speed at the top, but nope.

Hasn't had an off-day yet to catch his breath, to be fair. If this group can't put up a decent effort vs. Lance Lynn today, I would expect some tweaks.
