Awesome tribute video, Ely. Dane is a hard worker, and it was great watching him establish himself in Miami. Hope he can continue playing well in Cincinnati. The best trade to me is the Kempner one. Thank you, Giants, for giving us near MLB ready power pitching reliever for only 250k in international bonus money. What's unfortunate is that we did not sign Harvey. However, 6 million was much considering his last two seasons. If he bounces back, we should try again next offseason.

Let's get Loáisiga. Get him to take some speed off his pitches and learn to pitch to contact.

Awesome entry Hans, I would pick Poche. Fairbanks, Faucher and Poche were all successful together in Tampa already. We should put them together again. I liked that you mentioned Cabrera, Always enjoyed watching him. With the right opportunity he could morph into a left handed Henriquez.

A premier bullpen reliever, not bad. Bendix took a chance on him in Tampa and Fairbanks ran with it. Good on Fairbanks for helping us.

These are the players I'd vote for: 1. Dustin Pedroia 2. Mark Buehrle 3. Bobby Abreu 4.Cole Hamels 5. Felix Hernandez 6. David Wright Consider picking the Marlins hat Mark.

I cannot believe it, I did not even know he was injured. Such a big hole to fill. Hope you get better in time for our World Series run Ronny. Kempner or White now is your time.

Add Scott Jacob Berry Hatteberg to the 40 man already.

    Keep cooking Edward!

The season right after these changes, the Triple-A affiliate won the championship and the Major league club increased their win total by 17...

I see Christopher as a super utility player that gets regular playing time. I think management will use him to fill in for our corner infield and outfield positions.

Awesome article Kevin! I did not know that about Hunter, looks like he is around the same age as his father when he joined the Marlins. Hunter has thrown less than 200 innings in the MLB but has pitched well. Let's add him to the team.

Players continue playing well this winter, a new Triple A owner and Otto getting married? Let's keep the momentum going! Congrats Marle and Otto😁

Yay! Hope he and Javier do well in the super-utility role.

Awesome article Ely and great analysis on both pitchers! Looking at Jake Smith, he profiles like Jacob deGrom with his body and some of the pitches he throws. We should focus on helping him have a more fluid delivery like Jacob. A fun fact about him is that he attended 4 different universities in Florida. We picked ourselves up a Floridan☀️

Looking forward to hearing about Echedry and Maximo this season. Many of our minor league prospects struggled hitting last season. Wishing great seasons for all of them.

We need to be careful with Mayo, he could be the next Blake Wood.

If we have Zack Wheeler we NEED to extend him! Give Alex Cobb and Matt Thornton more innings 😁

Awesome article Ely! Loved that table you included.

Looks like Blake and Hayden played together at Auburn. I like them both and Alaska.

He'll probably be one of those players we trade before he is due for a contract.

I did not realize Brian elected free agency. Thought he was just removed from our 40-man roster. Thanks for pointing that out @JustMarlins. Trading Liam might make Ryan Ignoffo the backup then.

If Joe makes the opening day team I think that means Agustin will not be catching. I'm not sure they would carry him on the active roster to not be an every day player. If true, that either leaves Liam Hicks or Brian Navarreto to be backup catcher. If we move Liam to the Brewers I think we should get first base prospect Tyler Black. Not sure if the Brewers plan on keeping Andrew Vaughn or Rhys Hoskins but this would be a good chance to get Black.

Hanley was awesome and I'm happy we got him, but if we could have held on Josh Beckett that would have been amazing. Paring him with Josh Johnson would have been insane. That Cuban team is interesting too. I did not know Nick Fortes was Cuban. That was nice seeing Jose, Livan and Alex as the starters. -Happy birthday Josh!

Cole was consistently great. Depending on the ballot, I'm not sure if he gets in his first year. However maybe later on he will get in. Will always appreciate the fact that he fleeced the Braves out of 18 million on his way out :)
