What are your Marlins vs. Nationals series predictions?
Jose Herrera replied to Ely Sussman's topic in Miami Marlins Talk
Marlins wins two games. X as our M.V.P! -
@1993 fan from start We need to see other players and Pauley can do with everyday playing time. What do you think about these ideas? Use an everyday lineup: rf-Ruiz 2b-Edwards ss-Lopez DH-Hicks 3b-Norby lf-Stowers 1b-Pauley cf-Sanoja c-Mack Bench: Berry, Jimenez, Morel. Hold a spot for Conine. Call up: Berry, Garrett, Gibson and Snelling. Send down: Caissie, Marsee and Nardi. Use a six-man rotation. Alcantara, Perez, Meyer, Junk, Garrett and Snelling. Stretch out their starts and do not pull them early for no reason. No excuses! Wait until the first half of triple A finishes on June 21st to reevaluate if there are any minor leaguers playing well enough to help us win. Make a decision and play with the new group of players and reevaluate where we are headed shortly before August 3rd, the trade deadline.

Marlins DFA Chris Paddack after only 7 games
Jose Herrera replied to Ely Sussman's topic in Miami Marlins Talk
Get him some aloe vera, he has major sunburn. He probably went fishing or partying on our day off after the Los Angeles series. Nonetheless welcome William! -
Aaron Nola is alright. He threw some hanging knuckle-curveballs to Caissie and Mack.

Great article @Alex Carver, I did not know about what Ignoffo did. @Robert Hanson I would think Gus is going to catch at Jacksonville. Mack has to prove he can stick around before Gus changes positions. Maybe given Ignoffo's versatility he can change positions again?

When will the Chris Paddack experiment come to an end?
Jose Herrera replied to Kevin Barral's topic in Miami Marlins Talk
I enjoyed watching Chris explain what went wrong with this outing. However, I could not help but notice it looks like he has a bad sunburn. Would have been great if he could have prepared better. Nonetheless, like others have mentioned we have at least three other pitchers ready for a chance.- 10 replies

What to expect from new Marlins call-up Josh Ekness
Jose Herrera replied to Kevin Barral's topic in Miami Marlins Talk
Welcome to the Marlins Josh! His pitching arsenal and stature are close to Tyler Phillips. Sounds like Clayton will give him the same role too. -

What are your Marlins vs. Giants series predictions?
Jose Herrera replied to Ely Sussman's topic in Miami Marlins Talk
I read that it is cool and windy in San Francisco. Nonetheless I pick Miami to win two and Stanford alumni Kyle Stowers to be M.V.P. -
Jakob Marsee breaks out despite Marlins loss
Jose Herrera replied to Kevin Barral's topic in Miami Marlins Talk
For those who did not watch the game you will not believe this. Right before his home run Marsee whiffed and lost his bat in the netting over the Marlins dugout. A young Cardinal's fan pulled the bat from the netting, but an usher asked the kid for the bat back. The fans began booing and on the next pitch Marsee homered.- 3 replies
