As a fan who has been critical of the Marlins strategy of spending on quality players I must admit that I am beginning to see the results of trying young players in the majors. These young players are exceeding my expectation for performance. Soon we need to decide which players have a future with the Marlins and sign those players. As far as Connor Norby I believe he will be a quality player, but he needs to go down and work on his game.

Hard to remember the last Marlins team that had SEVERAL hitters who are brand new to the majors producing so well. Ramirez, Hicks and Hernandez all fit that description. Especially impressive considering that Hicks and Hernandez were acquired for nothing.
