  1. Trading for Esteury Ruiz. Ruiz is in his prime and should have a chance to make our team better. He has Major league experience to build off and has played well in the minors. If he can stay healthy, he is poised to have a breakout season. Significantly I pick Graham Pauley. He is a great fielder and has solid plate discipline. Like Ruiz, he will now have a chance to become an impactful everyday player. Xavier Edwards! He is a speedy, switch hitting second baseman that has hit great for us the past three seasons. Plus, he is a local guy that has done everything we asked of him and then some. Pay him! Biggest strength- All our journeymen, new coaches/front office personnel and prospects have joined the team in the past three years. Things feel fresh and everyone has something to prove which is awesome. Biggest weakness- Financial limitations. Do not expect prolonged success if we are unable to begin awarding extensions. 2026 will need to be the season we begin doing this. 87-75 with the team M.V.P being Xavier Edwards. He will be an all-star and lead the team in games played.
  2. @Robert Hanson We can taxidermy a giant Marlin each time we win one and hang it close to the ribbon board in our stadium. Give each one a unique color and year.
  3. @Hans Herrera you just opened my third eye. The silver bullet we need at first base is Harold Ramirez!
  4. @Robert Hanson Crazy thing is that Deyvison is not even a bona fide first baseman. There used to be a time when the least skilled defensive player was the leftfielder.
  5. Please get a veteran first baseman. There is still time to trade for Ryan Mountcastle!
  6. Our team is so interchangeable I've almost given up trying to guess who will play where.
  7. @One Regend spot on. Chisholm would have been the next Acuna if Ozuna, Realmuto, Stanton and Yelich had all been in the middle of our line-up.
  8. He was hitting third for a great Italian team. Love that he had this experience.
  9. My pool of players for surprise all-stars are Edwards, Gus, Lopez, Marsee, Bender, Perez & Phillips. Not to mention Alcantara, Fairbanks and Stowers as favorites.
  10. That is cool that Sandy returned and made a start for us. Wish him well this W.B.C.
  11. Do you all think Tyler Phillips is competing for a starting rotation spot this spring?
  12. Eury has been losing focus and whining a lot the last few times I have watched him. Given his age, we might be expecting him to do too much right now.
  13. @1993 fan from start At least Tommy Sutton is doing home games, but yeah I was sad to hear about Rod Allen. He has good insight and is super chill.
  14. Marsee stood out as well, he was dropping f-bombs, recorded a hit and walk, scored both runs and stole a base.
  15. This is how I think we will begin the season: pitching relief cp-Fairbanks lrp-Junk mrp-Gibson mrp-King mrp-Phillips su-Bender su-Faucher starting sp1-Alcantara sp2-Perez sp3-Garrett sp4-Paddack sp5-Snelling position players bench c/1b-Hicks dh/of-Morel inf-Pauley inf-Sanoja of-Ruiz starting 1b-De Los Santos 2b-Edwards 3b-Norby c-Ramirez cf-Marsee dh-Conine lf-Stowers rf-Caissie ss-Lopez
  16. Griffin Canning's reset with the Mets went well last season when they signed him to a 1 year 4 million dollar contract. Paddack is close to the same age as Canning and has similar career statistics. This season we need Paddack establish himself as a solid #3 or 4 starting pitcher like Canning did.
  17. Welcome back Sheriff, let's start where we left off in 2016.
  18. It is awesome that Morel is grateful to be on our team. Signing him is great because if he learns to hit strikes hard, he has the power to produce offensive numbers similar to Khris Davis.
