If only Jazz would bunt the damn ball!

I can remember two different times that Jazz bunted for two hits in a single game. Off Strasburg in 2022 and off Lance Lynn this season. The question: Why in the world doesn't Jazz employ the bunt on a regular basis, especially now that he is leading off? Why aren't Brujan and Gordon bunting as well? Perhaps it's the manager's call and Skip doesn't want to generate more offense, but it could only help.

Ranger Suarez (starting tonight) happens to be an excellent fielder, so you'll have to wait at least one more day to see that again.

Brujan and Gordon simply don't get down the line as quickly as Jazz does. Jazz is the only player on the roster who'd I consider to be a plus runner by MLB standards...that is, until Xavier Edwards comes back from injury. Then you'll get a steadier supply of bunts.
