In 2022, Lopez was the Blue Jays number four prospect. Now he is the Jumbo Shrimp SS. Tomorrow he should be the Marlins starting SS, or at least Brujan's replacement. (Anderson's current .275 avg creates the illusion that he is doing fine. He's not.)

With Brujan, there really isn't even a conversation. Take a hard look at Anderson and you'll see he's performing just as he did last season. Soft contact, when he actually makes some contact, is his forte.

Anderson's BABIP is a ridiculous .412 thus far for the Marlins! He is actually striking out at a much higher rate than last year.
