Welcome to FOF's 11th Miami Marlins game thread of the 2024 season. The New York Yankees (8-2, +10 run differential) are the toughest opponent that the Marlins have faced thus far. Old friend Jon Berti starts the series opener at third base.

Per sources(picture above) - I can confirm - Fish On First has officially made it big.

Good to see a tweak to the lineup, albeit a small one.

The almost automatic DP combo of Arraez-Bell-Burger has been slightly tweaked.

Bryan De La Cruz isn't necessarily the best option as far as speed behind Arraez - but it is certainly an improvement over having Bell and Burger directly behind him.

Lets see if this reduces the amount of automatic DP's at the top of the order and can help the Marlins create some momentum to start games.
