    I like Garrett in the rotation, but why not put him in the pen to build up. It solves the lefty in the bullpen problem. I’m also not opposed to using snelling and white in the pen. They can be stretched back out if needed. I’ve never understood and never will starter or nothing mantra. Best arms on the 26 man roster to help win games is all it should be.

    I understand you need depth, but enough with left handed outfielders already. This was already a team that couldn’t hit left handed pitching for nothing last season.

    There’s no need to add another starter at this time. Gusto, snelling, mazur, and junk are plenty backup for injuries. I feel norby is primed for a bounce back year if he can stay healthy.

    Wanting to see the return, with that said think this is the right move. I always liked cabby but I don’t believe he’ll ever throw more than 150 innings. The blisters issues, shoulder problems, and now elbow problems. I’ve always thought he was destined for the bullpen. Best of luck cabby

    I don’t think Pauley should be starting over norby think he’s going to have a bounce back season. I would prefer mad max in the bullpen and give the Garrett the 5th spot in the rotation. I also wonder if they consider a 6 man moving forward.

    I was expected a bag of baseballs at the most for wagabum. Good riddance I’m shocked we got a left handed reliever for him. Hopefully this means there’s writing on the wall that Simpson going away soon.

    Huge move the marlins are really in the mix now! More dumpster diving, if Sherman can’t afford to spend anything, then the league needs to step in. This is zero upgrade from wagabum and a waste of a 40 man roster spot. I wasn’t expecting naylor, or the polar bear but dam you can’t afford O’Hearn. They make it very hard to be a fan.

    I’ll never understand the marlins front office hate of troy . The man hit all along the way and played good defense, and a left handed bat . There love affair with wagamen the bum don’t add up to me either. I wish Troy the best and he gets a real chance with the Rockies.

    In other words we aren’t going to spend anything, and every established player is in the market. On another note keep talking Tv ratings let’s not forget anyone with Xfinty last year couldn’t watch sure it affected the ratings.

    Gus average and hitting is much better when he’s not catching and he’s still only 23. It’s a pipe dream that they will spend any money and more likely the trade Sandy salary off the books. They’ll keep the old bum wagamen the no power or average first baseman with bad defense.

    My question is are they going to pry open the wallet and get a decent first basemen for next year. Naylor or the polar bear would be huge signings. Is it going to happen no and my guess is that they’ll be trading stowers, and alcantra for a bunch of single a prospects hitting 170 but with potential.

    I really hope this doesn’t turn out to be Sandy last start for the marlins. I’ve been a marlins fan from the start, and so tired of watching legends get traded. This is a young exciting team and rotation, let Sandy anchor it next year and be the veteran presence for a young team. I think about if this team didn’t trade luzardo for what looks like another bust where the record would be.

    I hope they do trade Troy, so the kid can get a real chance. Every game it’s how fast can we get him out of the lineup. Why they hate him so much and love the bump wagamen is beyond me and I’m done trying to figure it out. Still think Gus should be moved to first but at the same time hermberto Hernandez should get some looks there as well don’t play good defense in the outfield. Stowers and Marsee hit lefties good enough keep Myers to platoon with griff against lefties.

    There not making the playoffs, if they finish 3 games under it was a great season. I do think back to a lot of missed chances this season like letting Simpson give up 8 in a tie game in the ninth, or just the misuse of the bullpen all year. It does seem like there moving in the right direction though and there’s hope for next year. Keep Sandy to anchor the rotation and be a veteran presence, cut wagamen and move Gus to first. Then playoffs are in the cards next year.

    Yes mack looks like a future great catcher along with Thomas white as pitcher. That don’t mean that they haven’t s*** the bed in every draft pretty much since 2018. The entire team is made up of players traded for. Glad there’s someone new at the helm for player development.

    I hope they hold on to Sandy to anchor what could be a dominant rotation. Sandy, weathers, eury, garret, Myers would be sick. Bullpen cabby, junk, Ronny, bender and faucher main parts the bullpen. Won’t need much offense if that stays healthy. Love cabby in the rotation just don’t think he’ll ever throw more than 100 innings he’d be a dominant closer.

    I think wagamen should have been cut 3 months ago. Just cause he’s started hitting some singles with no exit velocity should he get another year. He has no power he’s not great defensively, and it’s not like he’s young. I know getting a guy like naylor going to happen but there are other options on the free agent market. Ryan ohearn wouldn’t be bad and shouldn’t break the bank

    Are they not going to snelling a s*** tomorrow? It’s after August so should affect his service time, I like to see what he’s got and going against one of the worst teams in league.

    Nice win it’s that time of year with nothing to really play for other than spoiler. I’m just hoping they can build on this a get close to a 500 season.

    In my 40 years of watching baseball I’ve never seen a s*** show quite that bad. The game tied at 2 and you save the ninth for your two worst arms in bullpen. I’m tired of hearing Ronny thrown a record amount of pitches, if he can only pitch once a week what’s the f***ing point of keeping him in the bullpen. If that’s the case shut him down for the year and call someone up. You instead deploy two arms that should have been sent down weeks ago. Also Clayton you moron Hernandez has no speed in left field runners in first and second stop making him play so shallow it’s the 4th time he’s been burned deep in that situation I’d rather have two outs and a sack fly than a double.

    I can’t stand Kyle sielaff, or rod allen. Tommy great as always wish he would be play by play all year long and bring back rich waltz they where great together. Kyle just has no personality, zero pop culture knowledge he’s just boring. Also who doesn’t love a good Tommy rant when someone doesn’t hustle or this weekend when Gus tried to frame the ball before catching it classic Tommy.
