    Im hoping after the CBA he’s extended, with Sandy. Having those two at top your rotation the next 6 to 8 seasons gives us a chance at a winning season every year.

    All I want to know is why we are still carry 3 catchers. Navarrrto has not even played in over a week. If anyone can explain this to me I’m all ears. I’m also at a lost to why santos hasn’t been called up or Long, but the 3 catchers is the most aggravating to me right now.

    Yes why are we carrying two and half catchers? I’m an old I don’t get the war or any of the crap. This team can win guys stepping up let’s call up some prospects and make a run.

    I had no issue trading hicks, but of all the teams in need of a catcher should have at least gotten 1 top 100 prospect. At least a prospect that would rank in our old top 10. Instead quantity or quality.

    Am I missing something ? Why are we still carrying 3 catchers? It seems now with stowers down we could definitely use an extra bat off the bench. I’m starting to feel like alderman is going to get Troy Johnston treatment, but del, or long being first baseman right handed would be a better option. I like paluley glove but the bats not there yet.

    It’s the same BS as always, bunch of maybes for the future been the same since this cheap ass owner don’t since buying the team. It’s not going to change they don’t spend what the CBA says that have to spend do to revenue sharing. There nothing but a farm team that’s never going to compete. I’ll wait till stowers and Lopez are traded over the offseason to completely give up on being a marlins fan. 33 years of this bullshit is enough. Glad you drank the kool aid and continue talking about the future being hearing that since the 2017 teardown.

    I guess there’s always 2028 to get back to the playoffs. This was our prize move to fix the bullpen issues. Traded away the club leader in RBIS for prospects years away, and one of our more solid bullpen arms in Bacar. Never addressed the bullpen or third base. I’m sure before the lockout they’ll trade stowers and Otto for some more prospects years away.

    Good luck Liam, I don’t really understand trading away your RBI leader in a playoff race for prospects years away. There’s nothing to this point at the deadline that helps this team in the immediate and starting to thing that there not going to.

    He should be off limit completely, don’t even listen to offers. In the middle of a playoff race and you’re listening to offers on a guy in the running for a gold glove and a batting title. That would be the ultimate slap in the face to the fans if he’s traded. The man shows up everyday with a great attitude and gives a 100 percent every play. Extend him or at least keep him till his control is up.

    If they trade Otto like the rumors are saying I’m done. They move hicks for a 3rd baseman and bullpen help makes sense. This team can make the playoffs this year, win the series against the Mets and back to 3 games over 500. The bats are coming back alive fix the bullpen that Clayton has wore out already, by pulling starters early and all the bullpen games.

    I personally starting to believe Clayton has a gambling problem and is throwing games at this point. Use high leverage Peterson in the 5th inning. Great move going win it in the 5th. What the hell was lake doing trying to hold it down in the 8th. Bullpen is missing some pieces right now but using lake in the 8th by far the worst I’ve seen. Let the fire sale begin thanks to piss pour management.

    I’m completely lost at this point of what this front office is trying to do. I know Garrett had a rough start last time out but even putting him in the bullpen will help at this point. We carrying three catchers, if going to do that rather have Gus bat off the bench. Why alderman not been called up beyond me and why marsee in the lineup everyday confusing. I could go on and on is Leo better than norby or pauley? After 11 losses you figure they might try something different.

    I’m at a loss to why Braxton not been giving another shot, bring him up pit Tyler back in the pen as the closer. See if Fairbanks can figure it out in less pressure situations. Also why let Leo face the righty if you’re going to bring in Pauly to play defense in the ninth. They platoon everything else in not in a 1 run game in the 9th though. Let’s hope they wake up in Houston.

    The struggles continue against lefty’s. Trading for manny Machado would help that. I know never going to happen but a man can dream. Lol
