    He should be off limit completely, don’t even listen to offers. In the middle of a playoff race and you’re listening to offers on a guy in the running for a gold glove and a batting title. That would be the ultimate slap in the face to the fans if he’s traded. The man shows up everyday with a great attitude and gives a 100 percent every play. Extend him or at least keep him till his control is up.

    If they trade Otto like the rumors are saying I’m done. They move hicks for a 3rd baseman and bullpen help makes sense. This team can make the playoffs this year, win the series against the Mets and back to 3 games over 500. The bats are coming back alive fix the bullpen that Clayton has wore out already, by pulling starters early and all the bullpen games.

    I personally starting to believe Clayton has a gambling problem and is throwing games at this point. Use high leverage Peterson in the 5th inning. Great move going win it in the 5th. What the hell was lake doing trying to hold it down in the 8th. Bullpen is missing some pieces right now but using lake in the 8th by far the worst I’ve seen. Let the fire sale begin thanks to piss pour management.

    I’m completely lost at this point of what this front office is trying to do. I know Garrett had a rough start last time out but even putting him in the bullpen will help at this point. We carrying three catchers, if going to do that rather have Gus bat off the bench. Why alderman not been called up beyond me and why marsee in the lineup everyday confusing. I could go on and on is Leo better than norby or pauley? After 11 losses you figure they might try something different.

    I’m at a loss to why Braxton not been giving another shot, bring him up pit Tyler back in the pen as the closer. See if Fairbanks can figure it out in less pressure situations. Also why let Leo face the righty if you’re going to bring in Pauly to play defense in the ninth. They platoon everything else in not in a 1 run game in the 9th though. Let’s hope they wake up in Houston.

    Was at the game, told the entire section when Romero came out not to worry Clayton will screw this up. Cassie been hot could have been batting in the ninth, he’s also never going to hit lefty’s if he don’t ever see them. Also in what world is Jiménez a better bench option than norby? Great game from Tyler he continues to surprise.

    Tuff loss. I’m so tired of the platoon crap, the only way he’s going to learn to hit lefty’s is to face them. I’m unfortunately not surprised you can always count on Clayton to rest a hot bat. Time to start another winning streak.

    I say it again don’t trade extend him. Even if he never gets back to 2022 Sandy he’s worth ever every penny. He’s a great leader for the rotation he’s work ethic is undeniable. Been a marlins fan since 93 give us one lifetime marlin.

    Great game Max really pushed through even without his best stuff great to see. Back over 500 next goal get to 5 games over. Hopefully eury back next week the bullpen can get some rest. Still think it’s time to call up milbrandt maybe next month.
