  1. I think with Stowers back, Marsee with a new bat, and finally winning a series again, I'm feeling the vibes and going with the fish win 2-1. MVP: Stowers
  2. I also hope this is the start of a run for Marsee. Let's take this series today with a better overall performance.
  3. Max deserved the W. At least the team won the game and didn't waste another good pitching performance. Let's get that W tonight and go 3 in a row. Get some mojo back in this team.
  4. Going against my head, I'm taking Marlins 2-1 with Stowers powering the turnaround.
  5. I guess they are hoping Marsee finally starts hitting, but batting a guy with an average at .156 atop the lineup is frustrating. So is playing a guy at 3B batting .174 who is maybe average at defense. These are dumb moves. Play Norby at 3B. Play De Los at 1B. Heriberto also needs to sit down. Play Ruiz as the righty bat off the bench once healthy, not Slater or Heriberto. Stowers, please help us!
  6. Marlins 2-1. I see two RH pitchers, so Mr. Norby, come on down to receive your MVP award.
  7. That was disgusting. They had a chance to win back to back games in Atlanta for the first time in like 3 years and puked it up. I'm still on the play Norby at 3B and put a another bat in the lineup at 1B. It might not be fair, but I don't know if Pauley's bat will ever come around. Is he that much of a defensive wizard at 3B that we need to play him?
  8. They need to figure it out so they're ready for October ;)
  9. After looking like the Dolphins in chilly games on the road this was a great site to see. We had the two headed catching monster tearing Atlanta up. Braves officials were about to call in Mothra for defense of the skies. Norby improving at the plate. I still don't like him at 1B. I would move Norby to 3B over Pauley and play De Los and Stowers if they plan on easing him in. At that point, Morrel should be ready to go and we can see if his bat is ready for a comeback or just lean back into recent production, which could possibly leave them searching deep into the season at 1B. I'm still pulling for De Los.
  10. I too was skunked in my picks against the Tigers. Ouch. Braves win, 2-1. Acuna is MVP
  11. I've been wanting Dlos to play 1B, so it's a great turn of events. Here's hoping to him being able to stick around.
  12. The musical chairs at 1B is now just comical. I know the who's on first is a legendary comedy bit, but I never expected the Marlins to do sketch comedy of their own at the position.
  13. I'm going to take the Marlins on the road in this series, 2-1 for the fish. MVP will be Otto Lopez. That Sunday pitching matchup is primetime worthy. MLB must be happy how that ended up. Go fish!
  14. Holy s**t! I am so hyped. Finally what I have been b!tch!ng about. We are going to have DeLos, Owen, and Conine all on the big league roster. Inject this into my veins! A placebo, of course. :P Regarding Max, I always thought he would end up a beast closer. I'm not sure now that it would work out, but are we judging him as a #3 starter? Wasn't he #3 last year before injury? I think if he was 4th or 5th starter it might look different, but where he was drafted clouds the judgement and outlook on him being that kind of starter.
  15. With Kevin in first, when are we allowed to petition the commissioner for potential insider trading? The SEC needs to be made aware of this market manipulation. ;)
  16. A much better performance. Crazy what putting in better hitters does, lefty/righty be damned. Great to see X in the two spot, Hicks in the lineup, and Conine looked great. Owen didn't get a hit, but glad he was in the lineup. He needs seasoning. I feel like we are wasting cooking time playing Slater, and to some extent, Heriberto. I know they use him for righty splits, but right now I think Berto and Slater are on the move on list once others get healthy. We'll see. Let's take this nooner and split the series. Go fish!
  17. If this team wants to take the next step then they need to get their @$$ chewed out when they do dumb sh1t. I hope skipper and the analytics department is proud of themselves with two runs over two games, completely blowing amazing pitching performances. Why in the ever living bleep is Slater still leading off? Why are we playing hitters who are ice cold just because they bat from a certain side of the plate while sitting our hottest hitters? Two runs over two days. Marlins should be leading this series 2-0. I get the calling pitches from the dugout is working, but don't always try to be the smartest guy in the room. Cono! I am enjoying Gus and his ABS calls. Dude is showing the eye of the tiger.
  18. He pretty much gave the team a Sandy start and they rewarded him like they used to reward Sandy, with a sugary donut. So now with real Sandy starting tonight, I hope they exorcised the demons in last nights bats.
  19. What in the living s**t is Slater leading off? The guy shouldn't even be on the team. We should have called someone up for the brief time Stowers was out. To put X at the bottom and leadoff Slater should be a criminal offense. Marsee is definitely in the midst of a sophomore slump. It's early, but he needs to snap out of it soon or it's going to fester. Heriberto too. Norby isn't helping his case either. I can't believe I want Morel back to see what he can do a 1B. Where have you gone, Kyle Stowers? Our bats turn their lonely eyes to you.
  20. Marlins split the series. MVP: Gus Bus
  21. With that pitching matchup, hope for PPD due to weather. ;)
  22. Eury could play QB for Dolphins with that kind of performance in the "cold" weather. :P Good to see the red rooster is still hitting.
  23. Yankees 2-1 MVP: Jazz since he is better than any other player in the majors according to his silence.
  24. Such an excellent start to the season. This is what they needed and doing more than treading water waiting for Stowers and the stud pitchers to get called up. Canadian connection committing crimes.
