  1. I knew it was over after the most awful at-bat in Marlins history. From all accounts a nice guy, but his time is up in the next two weeks. It's a shame it didn't work as the team needs the power. Good article, Ely.
  2. The Marlins have felt close to going on a little run but end up bleeping something up. After a series win vs Nats I'm going Marlins take this road series 2-1. Stowers powers the fish to MVP.
  3. Big win. Now they can take the series if we get the real Sandy. Here's hoping to him being in the zone.
  4. They needed that one. Hope that sparks the team. Hicks is out of his mind. That is all.
  5. I think that wacky win last night snowballs into a streak. Break out the brooms. We're going sweeping! Marlins 3-0. X is the X-factor/MVP.
  6. This team is so freaking frustrating. Sandy and Eury pitching like doo-doo was not supposed to be in the cards. Right now I have more faith in Meyer and Junk, probably Snelling as well. New pitching coach has serious work to do. Please win today.
  7. It would have been a nice story if he found his stuff, but his stuff is MIA. Ba dum tish This is great news as we are about to bolster the rotation. Now if only the offense could score runs on a consistent basis. :/
  8. I would love to say sweep, but this offense goes frigid every once in a while. Marllisn win 2-1 and X is the MVP
  9. Whoa! I did not expect this move. Hopefully Gus takes it in stride and improves his hitting and finds a new position and sticks.
  10. Loving this Max and agree with Thomas Joseph. Stop with the robotic starter removal. Let them pitch! I had a feeling Clayton would sit Morel after that disastrous AB on Friday night. He pinch hits him to see if he can get a hit and get some confidence and he gets K'ed. Ouch. Luzardo will be tough today. We're going to need Paddack to hold his own and hope we get some timely hits to sneak one past Jesus.
  11. That at bat by Morel, considering the rally and position he was in, was the worst at bat I think I have ever seen in my life. What in the ever living eff was that? How was he able to look every guy in the dugout after that? Clayton has a tough call today in playing him. He might need to sit or that may have broken his psyche. The shock and horror on his face after SO was called was telling.
  12. I hope they win 3-1 or a sweep after almost sweeping the Dodgers but know this team sometimes goes out there and randomly lays an egg or two, so going with a 2-2 tie and Stowers is the MVP
  13. Much needed win and hopefully some confidence going into the rubber match. We're starting to get healthy on the offensive side of the ball. Hoping Stowers starts finding his groove and see if Morel can find his swing from a few years back. Need more homeruns.
  14. From both a development and competitive standpoint, it hasn’t made much sense to continue allowing Hernández to start against left-handed pitching—or any pitching, for that matter. Testify!
  15. Great game and start to the series. Back to .500 and looking good. Let's keep this up. Go fish!
  16. I think with Stowers back, Marsee with a new bat, and finally winning a series again, I'm feeling the vibes and going with the fish win 2-1. MVP: Stowers
  17. I also hope this is the start of a run for Marsee. Let's take this series today with a better overall performance.
  18. Max deserved the W. At least the team won the game and didn't waste another good pitching performance. Let's get that W tonight and go 3 in a row. Get some mojo back in this team.
  19. Going against my head, I'm taking Marlins 2-1 with Stowers powering the turnaround.
  20. I guess they are hoping Marsee finally starts hitting, but batting a guy with an average at .156 atop the lineup is frustrating. So is playing a guy at 3B batting .174 who is maybe average at defense. These are dumb moves. Play Norby at 3B. Play De Los at 1B. Heriberto also needs to sit down. Play Ruiz as the righty bat off the bench once healthy, not Slater or Heriberto. Stowers, please help us!
  21. Marlins 2-1. I see two RH pitchers, so Mr. Norby, come on down to receive your MVP award.
  22. That was disgusting. They had a chance to win back to back games in Atlanta for the first time in like 3 years and puked it up. I'm still on the play Norby at 3B and put a another bat in the lineup at 1B. It might not be fair, but I don't know if Pauley's bat will ever come around. Is he that much of a defensive wizard at 3B that we need to play him?
  23. They need to figure it out so they're ready for October ;)
  24. After looking like the Dolphins in chilly games on the road this was a great site to see. We had the two headed catching monster tearing Atlanta up. Braves officials were about to call in Mothra for defense of the skies. Norby improving at the plate. I still don't like him at 1B. I would move Norby to 3B over Pauley and play De Los and Stowers if they plan on easing him in. At that point, Morrel should be ready to go and we can see if his bat is ready for a comeback or just lean back into recent production, which could possibly leave them searching deep into the season at 1B. I'm still pulling for De Los.
