  1. The sequence of getting the ball called after the ABS challenge to hitting the HR was absolutely amazing. I wanted the team to send Heriberto down and they did. He has come back a new batter. Kudos to him. I hope we can get the same from Gus at some point this season. Series win feels good, but after all the L's this team has taken recently, let's get greedy. Sweep!
  2. That was a much needed win. They have to string a few together to make up for the recent skid. It's a good start to June. :)
  3. I missed a couple predictions, so going to have to go on a run to at least get back into the mix. Marlins 2-1 and going with X as MVP
  4. After that 3 pitch SO when he flinched away each time that was it. Experiment over. This is insanity.
  5. At least they have been consistently frustrating. Such a shame for Eury. The starting pitching has been snake bit (again). I hope it's a short stint and he only misses a start or two.
  6. This team has been maddening all season. We see the potential and then we see a freezing cold team. I'm hoping the ups and downs pays off and they make another run in the summer like last season, but this time without the final collapse. Come on, guys! We see what could be.
  7. Ruiz has worked out so far compared to Morell. Can't win them all.
  8. Split series 2-2 since Eury isn't pitching. :P MVP is Olson
  9. I hope this starts a run and not just a one game outburst. Let's take the series!
  10. I've been picking the fish and they shred my heart to pieces. Rays win 2-1. Caminero walks away with MVP
  11. I knew it was over after the most awful at-bat in Marlins history. From all accounts a nice guy, but his time is up in the next two weeks. It's a shame it didn't work as the team needs the power. Good article, Ely.
  12. The Marlins have felt close to going on a little run but end up bleeping something up. After a series win vs Nats I'm going Marlins take this road series 2-1. Stowers powers the fish to MVP.
  13. Big win. Now they can take the series if we get the real Sandy. Here's hoping to him being in the zone.
  14. They needed that one. Hope that sparks the team. Hicks is out of his mind. That is all.
  15. I think that wacky win last night snowballs into a streak. Break out the brooms. We're going sweeping! Marlins 3-0. X is the X-factor/MVP.
  16. This team is so freaking frustrating. Sandy and Eury pitching like doo-doo was not supposed to be in the cards. Right now I have more faith in Meyer and Junk, probably Snelling as well. New pitching coach has serious work to do. Please win today.
  17. It would have been a nice story if he found his stuff, but his stuff is MIA. Ba dum tish This is great news as we are about to bolster the rotation. Now if only the offense could score runs on a consistent basis. :/
  18. I would love to say sweep, but this offense goes frigid every once in a while. Marllisn win 2-1 and X is the MVP
  19. Whoa! I did not expect this move. Hopefully Gus takes it in stride and improves his hitting and finds a new position and sticks.
  20. Loving this Max and agree with Thomas Joseph. Stop with the robotic starter removal. Let them pitch! I had a feeling Clayton would sit Morel after that disastrous AB on Friday night. He pinch hits him to see if he can get a hit and get some confidence and he gets K'ed. Ouch. Luzardo will be tough today. We're going to need Paddack to hold his own and hope we get some timely hits to sneak one past Jesus.
  21. That at bat by Morel, considering the rally and position he was in, was the worst at bat I think I have ever seen in my life. What in the ever living eff was that? How was he able to look every guy in the dugout after that? Clayton has a tough call today in playing him. He might need to sit or that may have broken his psyche. The shock and horror on his face after SO was called was telling.
  22. I hope they win 3-1 or a sweep after almost sweeping the Dodgers but know this team sometimes goes out there and randomly lays an egg or two, so going with a 2-2 tie and Stowers is the MVP
  23. Much needed win and hopefully some confidence going into the rubber match. We're starting to get healthy on the offensive side of the ball. Hoping Stowers starts finding his groove and see if Morel can find his swing from a few years back. Need more homeruns.
