    Max Meyer's demotion is a financial move. The Marlins don't want him to qualify for a year of major league service. I wish we had an owner who was interested in winning. It is hard to root for the Marlins when they make moves like this.

    Luzardo needs to get to work. He has been a major disappointment so far. He falls behind a lot of hitters which makes him unable to get outs. Mel needs to help him fix his problems.

    I hope the Marlins have a different plan for limiting Meyers innings than they had for Eura Perez. Sending him down set him back and he was not the same when he was recalled.

    I am a Marlins fan but this franchise is totally dysfunctional. We will not extend our All Star caliber players. Now we are going to not extend the manager of the year. Who wants to come to Miami with this management team.

    The Marlins did virtually nothing to to improve the club and it shows. We need better players and an owner who is willing to spend to improve the club. If this continues MLB must take action. Things have to change.

    It is disappointing that the Marlins so far have not improved the roster. With one or two exceptions we have a roster of mostly complimentary players.
