1) He;s at an even 1.00 OPS+, or nothing but an average performer. No team is going to give the Marlins much.

2) Jazz is pretty much the only "average" player the Marlins have. He's not expensive and I think everyone would agree that we are seeing his basement, not his attic. Not the time to move him.

3) I think he will be less glaringly inadequate if he is dropped down in the batting order.  His failure to be selective at the plate is a no-no for a leadoff guy.

Note: For me, it's Sanoja time at either first or second in the order. SS or OF. All good. If we can sneak Edwards, Lopez, Sanoja, and Jazz onto the field every day. Those are the guys I want to watch.

It's Sanoja time for sure. The toughest guy to strike out in all of AAA has also popped three homers in the last two days! CF or infield ... doesn't matter.
