Lewis would certainly be off limits in the midst of a season. Perhaps there is something creative to be done in the offseason, but he's indispensable to what they're doing right now.

This strikes me as the most realistic of your proposals. Dodgers have both a short-term and long-term fit for Garrett.

The Twins would laugh at us and mock us for such a proposal. A pitcher who has a history of volatility and injury history, and a pitcher who is damaged goods, for a guy who is a literal superstar. If they didn't hand over Royce Lewis when we were shopping Pablo Lopez, there's zero shot they're handing him to us now for pitchers of far lower quality than Pablo Lopez.
