Is Wendle going to be on the post season roster? I would vote for either Avi or Great Dane, probably Dane.

Kim said that both Eury and Alcy are shut down but Eury's 15 day IL list time is up and his injury is usually recoverable with rest. Could he pitch later in October or November?

If there was an extra pitcher that the Marlins trusted or if Arraez was at 100% strength, Wendle would be off the roster. I think he makes it for this series and then they'll obviously re-evaluate if they advance.

 

Eury has already thrown more innings this year than the team planned for. There might be time to bring him back as a reliever, but that's a role he has no experience with anyway. I'd be shocked if he pitches again.

I think Weathers was the plan for Sunday all along but, imagining the scenario where he was not called up, I would bet on Hoeing+Cueto+Brazoban+Moore... That would have been terrible.

 

I don't think Scott would have pitched because for sure he would have been needed to finish the game today.
