Luzardo stepped up yesterday and pitched like the elite pitcher he could be. In fact the whole team did. What a great weekend for the Marlins after a disappointing series in Milwaukee. I am a believer that the Marlins can get into the playoffs and be competitive.

Leo, you have been a faithful commentator and I've enjoyed reading your comments. I forgot to say that now I do truly believe that the Marlins are going to make the playoffs. It doesn't make any sense, their metrics don't measure up, but there's something about this team. Who knows how far they're going to go? They just came off of a dominating sweep of maybe the best team in the last 25 years!
