Next year will be Cabrera's last chance to stick on the squad. If he still can't get his horrific control and blister problems in check, he will find himself on another team.

It would be selling low, but I'd say there's better than a 50% chance of him changing teams this offseason. There were serious trade talks involving him last year and he set a bad tone for 2023 by reporting to camp overweight. He had a prime opportunity to establish himself as a big league starter and didn't take advantage.
