Last night's ninth inning was a perfect summary of the Marlins season. Jazz comes back from injury to hit a home run putting the team within three runs. We get two men on base and former 400 hitter Arraez comes to bat. The fan is pumped, finally a Marlin come from behind victory.. But as if it was scripted, Arraez hits into a double play, ending the game and crushing the hope of any fans who still dared to believe.

 

Oh and the Herald should include Wendle, Fortes and Stallings on their list. I read where someone said September is gonna be great when we realize underperforming players and bring up Johnston, Edwards and Banfield, coming back from five games out to qualify for the wildcard.
