If Sandy is allowing 5 runs against the A's and the Nationals, and getting only 1 strikeout against the Nationals on top of that, then I have zero hopes in him having an improbable second half run that undoes all the damage that his disasterous first half has done to his season. Consider it a lost season for him. He's officially our Number 5 starter now... if he's even that.

Aside from getting demolished by the Phillies, I'd consider this his most disappointing/discouraging start of the season. I thought he was gradually on his way to being trustworthy again and this is an inexplicable step back.
