Can’t disagree.
We can write off King’s Monday night outing to the weather, but he has been struggling for awhile.
Was only 3 years ago that the Marlins were loaded with LH relievers. Tanner S., Okert, Puk, Nardi etc.
Assuming there will be baseball at some point next season, the Marlins could use another QUALITY starter (not another Quantrill or Paddack) and a LH starter wouldn’t hurt, a LH reliever, and a closer, with Fairbanks a F.A.
IMO, neither Snelling or T. White will be able to help the Marlins in 2027. It’s gonna take approximately 12 months or so (give or take) for Snelling to come back from his UCL/internal brace surgery. Also, he’s on the 40 man roster, so during a lockout, zero contact with the Marlins medical staff or their facilities. He’ll be on his own. T. White couldn’t make it through 4 innings, prior to his injury. Wasn’t ready before the injury.
Don’t see the Marlins shopping for any position players. IMO, they like their internal options ( Alderman, Cannarella, Long etc). Maybe a 3rd baseman but, IMO, they’ll let Sanoja hold down the fort and see how Aiva progresses.
We’ll see what happens…..
