    Our boy Javy scored the winning run! I'm glad he got a WBC title with his team, but I was rooting for the U.S. overall.

    He makes great contact usually so a power boost would raise his ceiling quite a bit. I'd like to see 15HR from him... 10 at the very least.

    I think he's good for 20-25 HR with 80-90 RBI given no injuries. Probably .280+ BA and a .350 OBP

    That's my take too. Cassie is a #1 prospect for a reason. Plus, it's about current team needs. We need more runs, Cubs need more pitchers. Our team still needs a solid 1B but it's never going to be perfect. I'm happy with how the offseason is going. Sad to see Eddy go though.

    I like to think we would've signed him regardless of Henriquez being injured, but I'm happy with the signing nonetheless. We got a bat and a we got a closer so far. 😎

    I doubt he plays 1B. Looks like Bendix is still considering a trade for Mayo. Cabrera for Mayo is a big move I'm hoping for.

    Eury is a bit more proven than Stowers is, so I'd like to see him get that extension as is stands now. If Stowers can follow up this season with 30+ HRs and 100+ RBI then yes, that's an extension in my book. I'm never confident in the franchise spending any substantial amount of money. That's the way it goes though. Hope that CBA tilts the balance of power to neutrality as far as fairness goes.

    Man, it feels good to be a Marlins fan this season. I want consistency though. Even if they don't make the playoffs next season, at least be close to .500 again. We do need our first division title at some point, and next season could be it if the starting rotation is healthy.

    We need that salary cap/floor scenario to happen at the CBA first and foremost.
