Marlins Video
On Tuesday, there was plenty of production from the bottom of the Marlins lineup—Kyle Stowers went 2-for-4 with two doubles and Jhonny Pereda had his first career three-hit game. However, Adam Oller (5.0 IP, 7 H, 6 ER, 3 BB, 2 K, 83 pitches/51 strikes) struggled in his final inning of work. Connor Norby and Xavier Edwards both got the night off (Norby due to left foot soreness). The Marlins lost, 6-4.
Down on the farm, Triple-A Jacksonville lost, 6-2. On his 23rd birthday, C Agustín Ramírez went 2-for-4 with two doubles. Double-A Pensacola lost, 6-1. The only Blue Wahoos offense came from Nathan Martorella's solo home run. OF Kemp Alderman went 1-for-4 and played left field in his Double-A debut.
