The 21-year-old Green began his collegiate career at NC State, but transferred to Georgia Tech for the 2024 season. As everyday shortstop for the Yellow Jackets, he slashed .309/.407/.577 wiith 12 home runs and eight stolen bases in 55 games. Green also improved his strikeout rate from 21.7% last season to 15.0% this season.
