I guess it's time to start summing up the Peter Bendix Era because it will likely end soon.

Why not start with the big financial donation to San Diego? Bendix had ownership write a multi-million dollar check for the balance of the Arraez contract and the salary of No Go Well, a free agent pitcher from the Orient, for 23-year-old minor leaguers named something like Mercy and Mozarella and a prospect who had no prospect of playing baseball any time soon. Just think. Bendix and company were PAID to orchestrate that transaction! At least the M@M boys are batting .350 if you add their two averages together (That's right. They are hitting a buck seventy-five each!)

Christian Bethancourt. Is it even conceivable that he could be worse than Jacob Stallings ... by a mile?

Tim Anderson. Bendix bet $5 million of ownership's money to see if the SS could bounce back from being the worst shortstop in baseball in 2023. That's a low bar. Bendix limboed beneath it.

Perhaps the next Marlins GM will be a former ticket-taker from Atlanta or Philadelphia.
