As I've mentioned a couple times, no AAA player in baseball began the season hitting like Lopez. I won't even post his numbers over nine games at Jacksonville because they are too hard to believe. He seemed like a perfect addition to a Marlins team that can't hit at all. Despite the hot bat, he has been used infrequently. How can that be?

I see Otto Lopez as our new Jon Berti. Because Victor Mesa Jr. is knocking on the door soon, that may displace Jazz to be placed back in the middle infield where he rightfully belongs.

Also, it's about time to call up Troy Johnston. He's proven that AAA is too easy. Why keep Josh Bell's contract when it's a lost season? Also, why not Will Banfield? Surely, he can't be worse than the non-factors we have behind the plate right now.
