Bendix, in arguably his biggest initial move, signed Tim Anderson for $5M in the hope (dream) that he would return to his younger, more productive self. Anderson blew the opportunity to make about $12M this season via a White Sox option exercise after a dismal .245, .286, .253, .582 showing in 2023,

Anderson has been nothing but consistent in 2024. .229, .264, ,253, .577. Nothing but bad.

So, hold him or fold him? I think Bendix has a better option of his own making in Tristan Gray. The biggest knocks on him are that he strikes out over 30% of the time and doesn't walk. Thing is, Anderson has been whiffing and not walking at similar rates. Other thing is, Gray has 9 homers and 20 rbi. Anderson has gone homerless and knocked in 4 runs. The Marlins need to score more. Gray can help with that.

Luis Arraez. The one-tool player enjoys some renown for back-to-back batting titles, a stat that used to matter more to fans. The Marlins won't get much but should be working to move him right away.

Jesus Luzardo should have been dealt in the off season when he really had some air under his wing. As Carole King sang, "It's too late, baby."

Jesus Sanchez. Loved this guy for his potential the last couple years. Now he's on my fold-em list.

De La Cruz. A team like Pittsburgh or Oakland might surrender a middling prospect for him.

Jazz Chisholm.  I no longer see a star there. Fold him. Hand center field to Mesa Jr.

Tanner Scott. History.
