So far this season the Marlins have proven that they are just an average (.500) team. Cooper leads the way on the offensive side of the ball at 1B. And Alcantara and Lopez lead the SP staff. But the team lacks depth, and has a mediocre offense, so it's regularly up to the SPs and RPs to keep the game close hoping the offense will find a way to scratch out a win.
