The Marlins are shopping for a veteran high-leverage reliever this offseason. They won't be landing Raisel Iglesias, who has returned to the Atlanta Braves on a one-year, $16 million deal.

Than you are calling all marlins reliever non impact low in lol( know not what you mean 100%) . and it not about left handed  also . Witch I been reading people want.  What it feel like you want is one guy you can callup on in the 9th  . Would be good.  But to me it a guy that can hold runners on in any inning.   I weather stick to having two three guys you can call up . That work for Clayton so far .    That why I think who ever Marlins get must be able to hold runner . mix with 1 guy who can go one and half innings.  yes I like to have Pete Fairbank but not worth it if it not 2 year with a option..  Marlins best years have been with strong bullpen also.

Short answer is NO and they should not. First of all, they NEVER pay the money to get a true top shelf player, they usually go for third or fourth best and get burned: See Bell, Heath, 2012. Secondly they don't NEED to. They have a decent closers already in Ronny Henriquez and Bender if he's healthy. If anything they should look around for good set up men so we never see the likes of Josh Simpson or Zuber ever again. But we all know that the Marlins HAVE TO SPEND SOME MONEY to make it look like Sherman isn't  just taking the Luxury Tax money and pocketing it. So we go through this yearly charade where the Marlins PRETEND to be serious players in Free Agency and Fish Stripes helps them by writing articles like this when everyone knows it's all BS.
