  1. You misstate his opening sentence in an attempt to make your point. I disagree with that. The article clearly states other than the two world series teams, 2023 was the most adored. How can you LOL at that? We only went to the playoffs one other time. Not exactly a ridiculous statement by the writer. I thought it was a good article.
  2. Marlins win the series 3 to 1 and Xavier is the MVP.
  3. Marlins win the series 2-1, MVP is Eury
  4. Marlins 2-1 series victory. MVP, I'm picking a surprising one here, Paddack.
  5. That was a fun read! Good imagination. May it come true, but I hope the Marlins have a better record at the time.
  6. One wonders if it really makes any sense these days to give young pitchers long-term contracts. Nobody seems to know the answer about this one. What are the odds that a pitcher is going to hold up through a 5 or 6-year deal?
  7. Ely or anybody who knows, I can't make it to opening day. There are events here in Tallahassee take precedence for me that weekend. Nevertheless, I would love to have one of those Kyle Stowers bobbleheads. I will pay something, but not a lot, for it. So, does anybody have any thoughts on how to get one? EBay? Does anyone have experience with purchasing fan promotions online?
  8. Good work. Ely! I really want to go now after reading all of this. It was a great decision to become a Super Sub. I'm proud of this site.
  9. I expect the Marlins to sign a veteran pitcher to either a cheap one-year deal or bring him in as a waiver claim or on a minor league split contract.
  10. Alex, I'm not going to let that be the only comment to your terrific article. I think you have an excellent idea and France would be a fine placeholder for the position. Good writing and I enjoy listening to you on the broadcasts. Keep up the good work my friend!
  11. Anytime you get a team's number one prospect, that has the potential to be a great trade. Cabrera is a solid pitcher, but there are too many question marks about him. This is the way to build a team. Very impressed.
  12. I'm glad somebody else enjoyed that David Samson explanation. It's rarely talked about in the baseball media world. Media frequently try to use the 150% of revenue sharing as some kind of salary floor and it's just not that according to Samson's explanation.
  13. Kevin, could you explain how we picked him up as a free agent but he's still arbitration eligible next year? I thought once you're in free agency, arbitration was done.
  14. I don't think they're eligible for the draft lottery next year. Could only be eligible 2 years in a row.
