    to be fair, one needs to look at recent results as things change (King was put on development list to obviously correct a mechanical issue since being brought up to AAA). Since being re-instated, has put up for August a WHIP of 0.64 and an ERA of 1.93 and SO/9innings of 11.6. Monteverde I would not put as a reliever as he does not have an over powering arsenal of pitches.

    I have heard that Dale Stanavich and Justin King have both been invited to the Marlins Spring training. Two effective LHP in my opinion.

    Justin King may not get the invite but is an interesting prospect that will likely move up to AAA. Lefty with a FB touching 99mph providing a .97 WHIP, 16.3 SO/9, 46% Strikeout rate for his short debut should be watched closely. Marlins need some sparks within their farm system! Laskey and King seem to be two bright spots!

    With the AFL only 3 weeks away, and further word which prospects the Marlins will be sending? might make a trip to Phoenix to see these future prospects on one team (Peoria Javelinas). Might be a good podcast topic here soon as well.
