• Ryan Jensen spent the holidays in DFA limbo and still remains there. We should have clarity about his status by the end of this week.

• Elsewhere around baseball, the Red Sox traded Chris Sale and cash to the Braves for Vaughn Grissom. During his long MLB career, Sale has only pitched against the Marlins twice (one start in 2016 and another in 2018).
