- Tuesday's Marlins MiLB notes: Troy Johnston (Pensacola) had a 3-for-5 night. He now has the second-most total bases (79) among all Marlins minor leaguers this season. Impressive rehab appearances for A.J. Puk with Pensacola (1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K, 15 pitches/11 strikes) and Trevor Rogers with Jupiter (4.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 7 K, 58 pitches/39 strikes). - Tuesday's losing Marlins pitcher, Dylan Floro, matched a career worst by allowing five runs (though only three of them were earned).

- The transition to MLB-produced television broadcasts has begun. Diamond Sports Group (parent company of Bally Sports San Diego) skipped their rights fee payment to the Padres. Beginning tonight, the league will produce the broadcast using the same on-air talent and many of the same behind-the-scenes workers.
