I don't do that trade as Marlins, 3 years of top 20 pitcher means at minimum a top 20 prospect across the league + two more top 100s, for those two I'd do Garrett and his 5 years of control. For Luzardo, talk starts with Marcelo Meyer or another premium SS. Yankees Red Sox and Twins all have young SS prospects start a bidding war, because FA is tough environment and not enough SP

I am not in favor of trading Luzardo. Quality starting pitching is so hard to get. Luzardo is young and under team control which is what a team needs to build around. How did we get in the situation where we would consider making this trade. We make bad draft choices and when we spend money in free agency we spend it un wisely. Avasail Garcia needs to be cut. But we nned to draft better and spend wisely in free agency. I am also going to say I am one fan that hopes Sherman sells the team. When you think small you are small. I know Marlin fans have not shown up in numbers that support a larger playoff but the population is there and when we hold quality baseball events at Marlins Park the fans show up. Miami has the population that rivals Dallas and Houston. We should not pretend we are a small market.
