I hope they at least made an attempt to get him even though I would bet his agent would not even return the call. You have to go through the motions as if you would get him or show that you want to get quality talent.

The headline made me laugh. That would have been a great deal, especially if he came back to form before the trade deadline - that would have brought a lot back!

You mentioned not too much came out of the press conference with Mr. Bendix The part I find concerning is the culture...It seems like they do not realize they are in a public business world that relies on fans. Some of the decisions they make seem like they are closed off and not transparent. I understand they cannot come out and say what they want to do or how they are going to do it but they can at least be more fan friendly, more press friendly and start doing positive things and saying positive thing, they seem hidden and very private in a business that that does not play well.
