  1. Can someone please explain to me why Augustine Ramirez constantly hits a weak ground balls to the left side of the infield. He no longer hits the ball in the air. Are they going to correct this?
  2. Could we see an early season trade to make room for Leo? I could see Bendix doing this.
  3. Is this another yawner of a signing? Trying to look for the silver lining. He did pitch 158 innings last season. That’s all I got.
  4. I was as loanDepot Park when the announcement was made. I was beyond the moon when their names were announced. So happy for them both.
  5. I think a person who isn’t on that list should be prioritized over any of these names- Felo Ramirez. Per Wikipedia: Ramirez called 40 Caribbean World Series.[3] He served as a broadcaster for nine years in his native Cuba, before leaving for Venezuela, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. From 1993 until April 2017, he was the Spanish radio announcer for the Miami Marlins.[4]He called many baseball moments in his career, including Don Larsen's perfect game, Roberto Clemente's 3,000th Major League hit, and Hank Aaron's 715th home run.[5]
  6. I’ve been thinking. Who else qualifies for the Marlins’ HOF? I can only think of one person… not two. The only person I can think of is Felo Ramirez. Most players only stood with the team for a minimal amount of time so it’s hard to think about anyone who isn’t already there.
  7. eBay is your best bet. I’ve purchased most of my Marlins’ bobble heads there.
  8. I don’t hate it. Looks like Bendix feels as if this is going to be a continuation of a development year. He’s not wrong. We truly have a number of unanswered questions on this team. Conine isnt a sure thing and we need to see what he does with more AB’s. Morel is a big question mark. Norby is a puzzle. Hernandez needs to prove he can do it again. Can Mack translate his skills to the MLB? What about Pauley? And the biggest question mark might just be Augustin and his lack of a position. It’s gonna be a fun season. Looking forward to it.
  9. Wishing Dane the best. Great clubhouse guy. Now does Morel replace him in the OF? If so, can we see a 1Bman signed as a result? I could see Bendix signing Lowe on a 1 year deal. He likes his former Tampa players.
  10. December 24th, 2025 at 11:43am CST • By AJ Eustace The Marlins and reliever Pete Fairbanks are in agreement on a contract, according to Will Sammon of the Athletic. It is a one-year, $13MM contract for the Republik Sports client, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN. The deal is pending a physical.
  11. This hurts. But knowing that he will be out this early in the offseason should give the team plenty of time to patch this hole before the season begins.
  12. I agree. It feels like this is all just noise. In addition, I’m not so sure Wagaman will be let go. I could see him coming back next season. I started doing some digging and realized that he wasn’t horrible against left-handed pitching. In 2025 specifically vs LHP (using RotoWire aggregated splits): AVG: .283 OBP: .321 SLG: .462 OPS: .783 PA: ~184 HR: 5 RBI: 26 If Bendix decides to hold on to Wagaman, finding a left handed hitting complement to Wagaman would be the way to go. Maybe moving Conine to 1st would solve this issue. If that’s the case, Morel could move to the OF in lieu of Conine. Cabrera can then be kept. If the team is out of it in July, he can then be traded. Im just trying to make sense of it all.
  13. Now I really want them to hold on to Cabrera. If they’re willing to gamble on the offense, it makes sense to hold on to the Starters since it is the strength of this team.
  14. So is this an upgrade over Wagaman? Or is this a lateral move? I’m finding it a challenge to garner much enthusiasm over this. The upside is there. But gambling on a position player after last year’s success growth has me feeling a bit skeptical. And are we even sure that Morel will be playing 1B? What if he is given the hot corner and another 1Bman is brought in? I was hoping for more of a slam dunk in terms of production for a 1B signing. I hope Bendix proves me wrong.
  15. Watching this front office’s behavior is like watching an animal in the wild. We have to look at the patterns. if this front office walks away from the winter meetings with no deals in place, it is safe to say that they will probably wait until February to make any additions. However, if at the end of the winter meetings, this front office walks away with a major trade or signing, it shows that they’re breaking away from their usual patterns, and are more inclined to approach next season with the intent of making a serious push. For me, it is that simple. The end of the winter meetings will tell me what to expect.
  16. Maybe focusing on extending those players we have on staff should be the focus if they can’t find the value outside of the organization. I’d love to see our guys extended.
  17. I was thinking. How does the idea of moving Heriberto Hernandez to 1B land? At the same time Norby could move to the OF. Could this be an option? I’m just trying to think outside the box on this.
  18. Helsley just landed a 2 year $23 million dollar contract. If those are the numbers being handed out to late inning arms, Sherman is creeping out the back door and running for the hills.
