Drafted by the Marlins in 2023 (fourth round, $460k signing bonus)
January 2026 update: Olson's fastball velocity is below average, sitting around 92 mph, but he's able to upset hitters' timing with a low-70s curveball that he consistently lands in the strike zone. The slider is his signature pitch.
Currently rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, Olson hopes to return to game action in August/September 2026.
