So it's very obvious what Bendix's goal is, long term success. This was very obvious, as he acquired two prospects, John Cruz, an 18 year old future stud, and Shane Sasaki (Who I'm very excited for). And there was also a rumor of a potential Arraez and Luzardo to SD rumor, and we undoubtedly would've gotten prospects in that trade (Maybe Kim but very unlikely the Padres would even consider trading him). It's not clear who we would've gotten but my guess is that Dillon Head might've been brought up in those talks, and I could see him maybe getting sent to Miami if we trade with them at the deadline. And of course, we are signing Andrew Salas, brother of Ethan Salas, next year so that's a huge deal for the future of the Marlins. What some Marlins fans don't understand is that Bendix is awesome at creating long term success, not quick one-and-done success like the marlins would have if Ng was still here. TLDR: Just let Bendix cook
