Down the Dorsal: With Jazz Healthy & Sandy Back on Track, These Marlins are Dangerous

Fish On First rewinds to one of the best games of the 2023 Marlins season.

The Miami Marlins were firing on all cylinders during Tuesday's win over the Boston Red Sox.

Jean Segura and Jazz Chisholm Jr. were both coming off the injured list for this game—that was the main story. They made an instant impact. Segura homered over the Green Monster and Jazz went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs.

Sandy Alcantara was looking pretty good, too. He's had a bit of wacky year, but painted his spots against the Sox. He's pitching like he's been on the job site for 18 hours and just wants to go home. "El Caballo" might be back (7.0 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 0 HR).

Even though they weren't charged with any official errors, the Red Sox defense fell apart to make this Fish win a walk in the park. Miami would go on to sweep the series.
