Marlins Video
Every month, Fish Unfiltered takes Miami Marlins fans "Inside the Dugout," bringing you an extended, exclusive interview with Marlins manager Clayton McCullough. During our May sitdown, McCullough speaks with Isaac Azout, AJ Ramos and Kevin Barral about Max Meyer's career year, Braxton Garrett's demotion, the process of deciding on a daily lineup and why Marlins batters have rarely used ABS challenges. He always gives a vote of confidence to struggling right-hander Eury Pérez and tries to remember every player who started for Miami in his managerial debut on Opening Day 2025.

The Marlins enter Wednesday with a 22-27 record, 11 games out of first place in the National League East and seven games back of the final NL wild-card spot.
Among the season's biggest surprises: Meyer dramatically outperforming Pérez. Through 10 starts apiece and approximately the same overall workload, Pérez's ERA is practically doubled Meyer's (5.33 to 2.85), with the latter doing a far better job of filling up the strike zone and suppressing home runs.
Aside from Sandy Alcantara, which Marlins starting pitcher do you trust most?
