Marlins All-Star special and updated state of the rotation

With the MLB All-Star break right around the corner, Kevin Barral and Isaac Azout discuss what the experience is like behind the scenes with Fish On First's resident All-Star, AJ Ramos. AJ was one of five Marlins representatives at the 2016 All-Star festivities, joined by Giancarlo Stanton, José Fernández, Marcell Ozuna and Fernando Rodney. He recalls getting the news of his selection straight from team owner Jeffrey Loria.

Stanton won the Home Run Derby that year, while the American League won the All-Star Game itself, 4-2.

Marlins manager Clayton McCullough confirmed on Thursday that Max Meyer will not participate in the game this year. Otto Lopez is expected to be used off the bench.
