A Brief Primer on the New Fish On First

Hi, my name is Brock Beauchamp and I’m part of the DiamondCentric team; we’ll be maintaining the platform here at Fish On First so Ely and his excellent team of Marlins writers can focus on content.

This site is comprehensive and offers a ton of baseball-specific features you won’t find elsewhere. Some we’ll have at launch (today) and others will roll onto the site over the coming year.

First things first, get yourself registered! It’s a 90 second process that opens the door to all sorts of cool features and abilities across the site.

After you’re registered, check out our new forums where you can create your own topics and respond to community-generated conversations started by other Marlins fans.

If you’re interested in trying your hand at writing your own long-form Marlins content, every user here at Fish On First can create their own user blog, which will be available for all visitors to read and comment!

The site also offers a wide range of achievements for participation, user ranks, and loads of little nooks and crannies to explore. Take a look at our tutorials & help pages to learn more about the site.

In the next two weeks, expect to see Marlins prospects lists (that you can vote on!), videos, and much more roll out to the site. Later in the year we’ll roll out specific draft pages with at-a-glance information you won’t find anywhere else in the Marlinsphere. I’m really excited to be partnered with Ely and his team and here’s to a great 2024 for the Marlins!
